Vesper Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026 · Applies to Vesper for Android
The short version: Vesper collects no data. Your recipes, ingredients, favorites, and bar inventory stay on your device. We can't see them, and we don't want to.
Data collection
Vesper does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. There are no accounts to create and no servers of ours involved.
Your content and Android backup
Recipes and ingredients you create or edit are stored locally on your device in a private app database. If your device has Android's built-in backup enabled (Settings → System → Backup, tied to your Google Account), that database is included and travels with Android's normal backup and device-transfer process — the same way any app's data would. This backup is encrypted and accessible only through your Google Account; the developer has no access to it. Android backup is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
If backup is turned off
Vesper works fully offline. Without Android backup enabled, your content is saved only on your device and never leaves it.
Children
Vesper is a cocktail-recipe reference intended for users of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
